5.12.06 - WCAR General Membership Meeting
A General Membership Meeting will be held at the Showpark Ranch & Coast on Friday, May 12th at 4:30pm. Every member and potential member is invited. All the latest news, future plans & goals will be discussed. Please join us!

Owners, riders & trainers must be members of WCAR to participate in programs. Membership forms will be available at this meeting and at Ranch & Coast. You may also go to WCAR’s website at www.westcoastactiveriders.com/JoinUs_MbrApp.html to fill out an online membership form.

 

5.12.06 - Spring Cook-Off and Auction
WCAR in association with Margaret's Cafe is hosting a fabulous Spring Cook-Off & Auction directly after the Membership Meeting at 5:30pm. The food will be phenomenal – don’t miss the chance to taste our chefs’ specialties - Bernie's burgers, Harvey's tri-tip and Will's ribs! Click here to view event details.

5.13.06 -Bake Membership Drive and Silent Auction
A bake membership drive and silent auction benefiting WCAR will be held on Saturday, May 13th – before, during and after the Grand Prix. Please come ready to eat tasty desserts and bid on fantastic items! More details in next week's newsletter.


2006 European Tour Selection Trials
Phase I of the European selection trials will take place during the Del Mar National and Phase II at Showpark Ranch & Coast. Remember, European Tour applications are due on or before Monday, May 1st. Call EquestriSol with questions at 310.930.2744.

2006 Spruce Meadows Selection Trials and Tour
The final Spruce Meadows selection trial will be held at Showpark Ranch & Coast. Good luck to all competitors! View up-to-date results at www.westcoastactiveriders.com/Tours_Tales_Results.html

Please note: All riders competing for a team spot need to have your ARIAT coat size and glove size available. This information will be collected from you immediately following the last trial at Showpark.

 

6.4.06 - Spruce Meadows Schooling Session at Fairbanks Valley Farm
A Spruce Meadows schooling session at Fairbanks Valley Farm will be held on Sunday, June 4th. All WCAR members are invited to this special day for a fantastic chance to school over all the natural obstacles before Spruce. Very important for the teams! More details to come in May.

WCAR Spring Cook-Off & Auction: Side salads are needed for this event. If you'd like to provide your special dish, please contact info@equestrisol.com

WCAR Bake Membership Drive: We need more volunteers to offer baked goods. If interested in baking something yummy for a good cause, please email Lena Swanson at ems@equestrisol.com
