Sound Bite: Karl Cook on winning the NAYRC Individual Gold
"Winning young riders is a culmination of a lot of hard work and a lot of preparation. I landed of the last oxer and I was like, 'Oh-my-God, I won!' I really couldn't really believe that I actually did it. It was really amazing cantering around the ring knowing I just won the North American Young Riders Championships."
Look for Zone 10 articles by Diane Korsh in September's Hunter Jumper Magazine and an upcoming article by Rebecca Walton in ShowBiz California.
Congratulations to all of the Young Riders who performed so amazingly well this year.

WCAR Gears Up for 2008
As we look forward to the final season of 2007 and what's to come in 2008, WCAR is proud
of the record number of memberships and outstanding participation from our generous donors and members this year.
We wouldn't be where we are today without the tremendous efforts and time commitments from Chairman Bernie Traurig, Treasurer Elaine Fresch, the WCAR Party Committee, and Mike & Christa Endicott.
Thanks to the countless others whose immeasurable help was priceless, and we look forward to letting you all know how appreciative we are in every way possible.
Thank you for supporting show jumping on the West Coast!
