Applications for the Spruce Meadows Tour are due this Saturday. Please make sure that they are mailed/FedEx in time to get to us by then, give them to the Oaks/Pebble Beach show office or hand them directly to Bernie Traurig or Kathy Hobstetter at the Oaks show.

WCAR Developing Youth Rider Tour Opportunity
WCAR would like to hear from riders interested in a potential WCAR Youth Developing Rider Tour for late July into August of this year. This program will be developed, depending on the response from WCAR members who are interested in traveling abroad on a Team from the West Coast.

USET Developing Young Rider European Tour
USET is offering a Developing Young Rider European Tour in June of this year. The deadline for application is April 18, 2008 for those interested. Selection will be directly from the USEF Computer List.

West Coast Active Riders plans on the drawing board for 2008 include: the formation of an Advisory Committee, new Board members seated, clinics, seminars, International Tours-Spruce Meadows/Europe, re-establishing Hunter and Equitation Committees and several exciting fundraisers.
WCAR is committed to communication to the horse showing community and the involvement of its members. If you are interested in volunteering, or you have ideas or suggestions, let us know.
