Golf Cart Raffle Winner & Heartfelt Thanks
Congratulations to the golf cart raffle winner Mary Morrison of San Juan Capistrano.
With all proceeds from the raffle going to the William Nissen Memorial Fund, the Nissen family was extremely grateful for this opportunity. WCAR would like to thank the group who pulled together and donated this fabulous golf cart as well as thank all the Nissen women for providing us with fabulous photos of Dr. Nissen through the years. He was certainly an icon on the west coast.
Congratulations to All That & Tammy Chipko, the recipients of the first Dr. Bill Nissen Perpetual Trophy. Presented annually by West Coast Active Riders at the Ranch and Coast Horse Show, this special trophy will be awarded to the winner in the Amateur Owner Hunter Classic, a division we remember Twinkie Nissen dominating for many years.
ROCK STAR Party Rocked!
The Endicotts did it again – organized a fantastic bash.
It was difficult to recognize some of our West Coast riders dressed as fabulous rockers... Our hosts, Mike and Christa Endicott looked lovely as Sid and Nancy, as well as our can’t-do-without Meet & Greet gang from Rolling Meadows, Monica as Blondie and Nick and Kat also as Sid and Nancy. Kat had shoes to die for that were padlocked on her ankles! We were also honored with the presence of Elvis (Hap Hansen), Axel Rose (Chance Arkelian), Madonna - the Virgin phase (Kate Considine), Elton John (Mark Bone) and many more famous guests. Look for pictures on the web site someday soon.
WCAR is so grateful to all who attended and all who participated in the Silent Auction.
